In this respect, we hereby present for your information the following matters within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“Law”), in order to fulfill our obligation to inform regarding all kinds of your personal data belonging to all persons associated with LA BLANCHE ISLAND, including our guests benefiting from our services.
The protection of personal data is among the fundamental policies of LA BLANCHE ISLAND. Throughout the existence of our company, we have given priority importance to the confidentiality of personal data, adopted this as a working principle, and instructed our employees to work in line with this principle. LA BLANCHE ISLAND accepts and undertakes to comply with all responsibilities imposed by the Personal Data Protection Law. With full awareness of this responsibility and in our capacity as Data Controller, we process, record, transfer, share, and store your personal data as explained herein and within the limits prescribed by official legislation.

You may access detailed and up-to-date information through the Personal Data Protection Authority Registry Inquiry System and review Categories, Purposes, Recipients, Retention Periods, Person Groups, Foreign Countries, and Security Measures.

Your personal data may vary depending on the product, service, or commercial activity provided by LA BLANCHE ISLAND; however, they are processed under the best possible protection by our Company.
Within our institution, there are personal data of candidate employees, employees, former employees, customers, guests, persons receiving products or services, potential buyers of products or services, suppliers, supplier employees, and visitors in categories such as identity, contact, religion/belief, health, financial, education, and other sensitive personal data.
As LA BLANCHE ISLAND, your personal data obtained due to legal compliance reasons stated in the laws of the Republic of Türkiye or with the consent of data owners are processed for the following purposes:
- Carrying out your customer registrations and the related processes,
- Fulfilling our legal obligations determined by the Constitution/Laws/Decree Laws/Regulations/Bylaws,
- Managing product supply and after-sales service processes, carrying out repair processes, ensuring customer satisfaction, and meeting requests,
- Performing the necessary work by our business units so that you may benefit from the products and services offered by our company,
- Ensuring the legal and commercial security of persons in business relations with our company (administrative operations related to communication carried out by our company, ensuring physical security and supervision of our locations, evaluation processes of business partners/customers/suppliers (authorized persons or employees), legal compliance processes, financial affairs, etc.),
- Managing security operations, accidents, or other similar events for medical-insurance purposes,
- Ensuring the security of those present in our facilities by using video camera (CCTV) recordings and assisting in the prevention, detection, and prosecution of criminal offenses; additionally, taking photographs into account in order to establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights,
- Providing you with information regarding information, events, and services you request from our company,
- Determining and implementing our company’s commercial and business strategies,
- Ensuring the execution of our company’s human resources policies,
- Fulfilling a legal obligation explicitly stated in legislation or when required by legislation,
- Conducting analysis and loyalty studies regarding the products and services you purchase, planning and implementing promotions, surveys, advertisements, market research, marketing and campaigns, and offering general and special offers,
etc.
In addition, within the framework of our legal obligations arising mainly from the Identity Notification Law No. 1774, the Law No. 5651 on the Regulation of Publications on the Internet and Combating Crimes Committed Through Such Publications and related legislation, the Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce and related legislation, the Labor Law No. 4857, the Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102, the Turkish Penal Code No. 5237, and the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, your personal data are processed in order to fulfill the above-mentioned purposes and legal obligations.
Additionally, your personal data specified above may be recorded in the physical archives and information systems of LA BLANCHE ISLAND and kept under protection both digitally and physically.
Your personal data processed for the purposes stated in this document shall continue to be used after being anonymized or shall be deleted by us when the purpose requiring processing under Law No. 6698 ceases to exist and after the expiration of the retention periods determined by law. You always have the right to withdraw your explicit consent regarding the processing and use of your personal data.
3. Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data may be transferred, limited to the reasons requiring transfer within the scope of the Law and relevant regulations for the purposes explained above, to domestic and foreign service providers such as information technology, software, archiving, printing, card printing, and distribution companies, as well as other third parties with whom we cooperate, for storage and archiving activities abroad, to our board of directors, business/solution partners, and legally authorized public and private institutions and organizations in order to provide you with this service.
4. Method and Legal Basis for Collecting Personal Data
Your personal data may be collected for the purposes specified above, in compliance with the fundamental principles stipulated in the Law and based on the legal reasons stated in paragraph 2 of Article 5 of the Law, namely being explicitly provided for by laws, establishment and/or performance of a contract, fulfillment of a legal obligation, and the legitimate interests of our Company provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the relevant person; through automatic or non-automatic methods and from all kinds of verbal, written, or electronic media.
5. Your Rights Regarding the Protection of Personal Data
Within the scope of the Law, regarding your personal data, you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data are processed,
- Request information if they have been processed,
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether they are used in accordance with this purpose,
- Learn the third parties to whom they are transferred domestically or abroad,
- Request correction if they are incomplete or incorrectly processed,
- Request deletion, destruction, or anonymization if the reasons requiring processing no longer exist,
- Request notification of such correction, deletion, destruction, or anonymization to third parties to whom the data have been transferred,
- Object if you believe that a result against you has arisen by means of analysis of processed data exclusively through automated systems.

Submitting your request via the e-mail address you previously provided for registration with our institution will speed up identity verification.
Our Company shall finalize application requests in accordance with Article 13 of the Law, depending on the nature of the request and within no later than 30 (thirty) days. If the process requires additional cost, the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board shall apply. In case the request is rejected, the reason(s) for rejection, or if the request is fulfilled, the work carried out shall be justified in writing or electronically.
LA BLANCHE ISLAND reserves the right to update this “Clarification Text on the Protection of Personal Data” within the framework of changes that may be made in the applicable legislation or data protection processes.
